Abstract
The luminescence properties of Cs2TiOP2O7 are reported and discussed. CS2TiOP2O7 shows an efficient luminescence at room temperature. For T < 100 K the emission band shows a vibrational progression in the Ti-O stretching mode. Between approximately 200-300 K most probably a phase transition is observed. The SHG efficiency of CS2TiOP2O7 is low. This can be explained from the crystal structure.
