A general scheme of simulating model is elaborated, which makes it pos
sible to describe seasonal and annual dynamics of number and bioenerge
tics in reptile populations. Using this model, description was made fo
r 5 reptile species (3 lizards, a snake, and a turtle). Original data
on population demography, food consumption and assimilation, body calo
ric value were used to identify parameters of particular models. The f
ollowing numerical results were obtained: [GRAPHICS] where X is averag
