Abstract
Proteins extracted from nymphal cuticles of the blood sucking bug, Tri atoma infestans, have been compared electrophoretically. Protein compo sition in abdomens from all the nymphal instars was found to be simila r but different from head and thorax one. A 45 KDa-like cuticle protei n seems specific of nymph thorax and abdomen and does not share epitop es with any other cuticle protein as judgeg by Western blot analysis.
