Abstract
Four patients with acute leukemia are presented in whom conventional k aryotypic analysis had revealed complex numerical and structural chang es including unidentifiable (marker) chromosomes. It is demonstrated t hat the application of fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) may c ontribute to the identification of such anomalies.
