Abstract
A structural safety assessment program has been developed using an obj ect-oriented programming approach. Its emphasis is on structural safet y for extreme wind events. The program is described in detail, along w ith the advantages of the object-oriented approach. Work-in-progress b ased upon this assessment program is outlined.
