Abstract
One pyridinologous linear tripyrrole and two pyridinologous linear tet rapyrroles were prepared, and their structural aspects derived from sp ectroscopic measurements and force field calculations. The properties of these novel pyrrole pigments are compared with those of analogous l inear tri- and tetrapyrroles.
