A fission cross section library for working media of detectors used to
measure fluence, dose, and the energy spectrum of proton-neutron fiel
ds is described. The library includes the cross sections of (n, f) and
(p, f) reactions for U-235 with screens made from cadmium, boron, and
boron with polyethylene correcting the energy detector sensitivity, a
nd without screens; for Np-237 with screens of cadmiurn and boron; for
U-238 With screens of boron, and for Bi-209. The library was compiled
from data from different publications. The data are from thermal neut
ron energies up to 20 GeV for neutrons and from the physical threshold
to 1000 GeV for protons.
