SPECTROSCOPIC-VISUAL ORBITS FOR 2 STARS

Orbital elements, which satisfy both positional measurements (visual a nd interferometric) and also our radial velocity observations obtained with a correlation spectrometer at favorable epochs when the lines of the components were separated, have been found by a least squares met hod for the visual binary stars BS 466=Kuiper 7 and ADS 16098. Values have been determined for masses and orbital parallaxes. Their errors a re calculated by considering the correlations of the errors for the in dividual orbital elements, and the suitable equations are given.
