This work presents the results of observations of 31 visual binaries w
ith late-type components obtained with the correlation radial velocity
spectrometer to resolve the 180-degrees ambiguity in the longitude of
the ascending node. The radial velocities of each component were meas
ured for 11 systems with angular separations rho > 1.5''. The sign of
the radial velocity difference was found from differential measurement
s for 12 systems with 0.2'' < rho < 1.5''. New spectroscopic component
s were detected in three systems. The true ascending node was establis
hed for 16 systems from these observations. The velocities of the rema
ining five systems were measured without resolution into components.
