Abstract
The radiative lifetimes of the C3PI-X3PI transition of the CSi radical have been calculated from highly correlated electronic wavefunctions and compared with available experimental data. For this transition, th e Franck-Condon approximation fails due to the strong R-dependency of the transition moment function.
