Abstract
The effect of polarization of activated carbon SKT-6A on adsorption of urea, creatinine, and albumin was investigated. It was established th at the adsorption of creatinine occurs identically well regardless of the sorbent potential. For urea and albumin, it was found that both po sitive and negative polarization of carbon increases their sorption be cause of the presence of ionogenic amino and carbonyl groups in both c ases.
