Abstract
Ultrafiltration measurements have been made with cellulose acetate mem branes on concentrated solutions of hemoglobin and its oligomers. A me mbrane with coarse pores loses its performance more extensively than o ne with smaller pores. This is ascribed to the high sorbability of hem oglobin.
