Abstract
A study has been made of the emulsion copolymerization of N-vinyl-3(5) methylpyrazole with vinyl acetate, using manganese trisacetylacetonate + acetic acid as the initiator. Different emulsifiers and monomer rat ios were studied in order to determine their influence on the process kinetics. Values were calculated for the copolymerization constants of the two monomers - 1.58 and 0.10, respectively.
