Ed. Bender et al., DINA-6 AND DINA-7 - DIAGNOSTIC INJECTORS OF FAST ATOMIC-HYDROGEN BEAMS, Instruments and experimental techniques, 39(6), 1996, pp. 846-849
Two special pulsed atomic beam sources (injectors) intended for plasma
diagnostics in medium-size tokamaks and open traps were created and t
ested. The injectors, DINA-B and DINA-7, produce hydrogen neutral beam
s with energies up to 30 and 40 keV, and the equivalent beam currents
1.4 and 0.7 A, respectively. The working cycle of injectors consists o
f a series of 20 1-ms pulses separated by 15-100-ms blanks, with a pau
se between series not shorter than 3 min.
