BULLYING OF PUPILS

First goal of this paper is to focus the attention of scientists and t eachers on bullying as a kind of violence having particularly undesira ble effects. The paper reports results of research on bullying in seve ral countries thus making clear how threatening it is considered there and discusses problems of explanation. In the final part is shown wha t can be done in order to prevent or interrupt bullying.
