The results of the investigation of the hydrogen interaction with Lave
s phases having general composition Ti1-xZrxMn2-y-zCryFealpha are pres
ented. The hydride phases are characterized by the rather high dissoci
ation pressure of hydrogen at ambient temperature. The experiments wer
e staged in standard Sieverts apparatus at pressures up to 100 atm and
in a special apparatus which permitted the measurement of the quantit
ies of absorbed and desorbed hydrogen up to pressures of 2000 atm. The
thermodynamic characteristics of the obtained hydride phases were det
