The microstructure, domain structure and magnetic properties of the si
ntered RE-Co-Cu-Fe-Zr magnets produced by using hydrogen decrepitation
(HD), sintering in hydrogen-containing atmosphere and hot isostatic p
ressing (HIP) processes have been investigated. The applications of th
ese operations are shown to have a positive effect on the magnetic pro
perties and magnet homogeneity. The following magnetic properties have
been obtained for the m0.7Gd0.1Er0.2(Co0.683Cu0.083Fe0.210Zr0.024)(7.
35) resistant to failure if operating in the hydrogen atmosphere. Copy
