Abstract
The microstructure, domain structure and magnetic properties of the si ntered RE-Co-Cu-Fe-Zr magnets produced by using hydrogen decrepitation (HD), sintering in hydrogen-containing atmosphere and hot isostatic p ressing (HIP) processes have been investigated. The applications of th ese operations are shown to have a positive effect on the magnetic pro perties and magnet homogeneity. The following magnetic properties have been obtained for the m0.7Gd0.1Er0.2(Co0.683Cu0.083Fe0.210Zr0.024)(7. 35) resistant to failure if operating in the hydrogen atmosphere.
