Ka. Gesheva et Ds. Gogova, CVD-TECHNOLOGY OF TRANSITION-METAL OXIDES AND THEIR IMPACT ON SOLAR-ENERGY UTILIZATION, Journal de physique. IV, 3(C3), 1993, pp. 475-483
The paper presents results concerning CVD thin films of transition met
als (W and Mo) and their composite structures WO2:W and MoO2:Mo, as we
ll as WO3 films. The composite structure materials consisting of a sus
pension of metallic molybdenum or tungsten grains in a host matrix of
metal dioxide demonstrate significant solar absorptance coupled with a
high infrared reflectance, which is necessary for efficient conversio
n of solar energy into heat. Transition metal trioxides thin films, kn
own as electrochromic materials have been studied with respect to the
technological conditions for their growth. It is found that they start
to grow up at temperatures in the range of 500-degrees-C. Spectral tr
ansmittance and the structure of WO3films were investigated.
