Abstract
The reduction of nitrobenzene with sodium borohydride and copper(II) s ulfate in ethanol1 could not be reproduce, but borohydride-Copper(II) acetate in ethanol works satisfactorily and gives yields equal or supe rior to those obtained in methanol2.
