Abstract
This paper presents an improved linearized method for contingency anal ysis which computes load-bus voltage following line outage. This metho d requires one base case AC load-flow and subsequently one DC load-flo w for each contingency fo determine the bus voltages. This proposed no n-iterative method is applied fo 14 and 30 bus IEEE test systems and c ompared with the existing method to show its superiority over it.
