Abstract
New gymnopilins (with m = 3, n = 5 and 6) were isolated from Gymnopilu s spectabilis and their structures were deduced from spectral data and degradation studies. Depolarizing activity was found for the gymnopil ins with m = 2 and 3 and the activity of the compounds with m = 2 incr eased in the following order: n = 7 < n = 6 < n = 5.
