Abstract
Four minor novel oligoglycosides of triterpenes having a lanostane-typ e skeleton were isolated from the bulbs of Chionodoxa luciliae. The C3 0 skeleton of the aglycones has been found for the first time in Lilia ceae and can be considered the metabolic precursor of the C29 eucoster ol skeleton.
