Abstract
Some theoretic problems of gyrotron pump for free electron laser with electromagnetic wiggler (EMW-FEL) are studied, such as the azimuthal p olarization of EMW, and the relation between the transient properties of gyrotron and the working conditions. These problems make a remarkab le influence on EMW-FEL system. In this paper, the numerical calculati ons and analysis are given for TE13 mode.
