Abstract
A theoretical determination of the hadronic contributions to the anoma lous magnetic moment of the tau lepton is obtained using an approach b ased on QCD sum-rules. The result is compared with the phenomenologica l value for the hadronic corrections and the role of the vacuum conden sation parameters is discussed. Furthermore, using a dispersion relati on, a prediction for a linear combination of the anomalous magnetic mo ments of the tau and muon is obtained.
