A. Suda et H. Tashiro, REDUCTION OF OPERATING PRESSURE FOR CONTINUOUS FREQUENCY TUNING IN TRANSVERSELY EXCITED HIGH-PRESSURE CO2-LASERS, Optics letters, 18(21), 1993, pp. 1807-1809
Continuous frequency tuning of a transversely excited CO2 laser was ac
hieved for the 10-mu m R branch with conventional gas mixtures at pres
sures as low as 5 atm. Tuning and spectral characteristics analyzed as
a function of pressure are presented together with output energy char
acteristics.
