Gas chromatographic detectors are increasingly used in order to obtain sensitive and selective detection in both conventional-size and minia turized column liquid chromatography. A critical review of the literat ure on the use of thermionic, flame photometric and electron-capture d etectors is presented, with emphasis on intrumental design, optimizati on of interfaces, and applications.
