Abstract
The structure and phase transitions of linear y[bis(2,2,3,3,4,4,4-hept afluorobutoxy)phosphazene] were studied using X-ray analysis, differen tial scanning calorimetry, and dynamic mechanical testing in a wide te mperature range. This polymer was found to produce condis-crystalline and mesophase states. The side chains were shown to be the major influ ence on the formation of polymer structure in its condis-crystalline s tate. The phase transitions observed were identified, and the types of condis-crystalline and mesophase structures of the polymer were deter mined.
