Abstract
High-Tc superconducting glass-ceramics in the system Bi-Sr-Ca-Cu-O hav e been investigated with additives PbO and TeO2 in the nominal composi tion Bi2-x-yPbxTeySr2Ca2Cu3Oz. Three alternative methods for synthesis of precursors have been studied. The free melt quenching technique an d tellurium as additive stimulate the formation of high-T(C) phase.
