Abstract
This paper gives an overview of relevant performance measures for a mu ltistate monotone system, observed in a time interval J. Flow network systems are an important class of these systems. The computation of th ese measures are discussed. Some easily computed approximation formula e are established. The accuracy of these formulae are studied by makin g comparisons with results obtained by Monte Carlo simulation.
