Abstract
The presence and behaviour of free radicals in the composite lignin/po lypropylene films upon heating were studied by electron spin resonance spectroscopy. The variations of free radical concentration with the p roportion of lignin in the composites indicate the radical character o f the interaction between paramagnetic sites of the lignin and polypro pylene.
