Abstract
Effect of sublethal concentration of ammonia on food intake and grow w ere studied in Mystus vittatus. Rates of feeding, absorption and conve rsion showed a gradual decrease with increase in the concentration of ammonia. Not only the rates but also the gross and net efficiencies of conversion decreased gradually.
