Abstract
The term agricultural sustainability has often been used to mean maint aining certain conditions. The concept is a multifaceted one involving agronomic. ecological, economic, social and ethical considerations. T his review examines a number of methodological approaches to the analy sis of sustainability, from conventional land evaluation techniques to more innovative views based on a historical perspective or a co-evolu tionary approach.
