Abstract
A survey of 18 combined Baccalaureate-M.D.degree Programs shows that s tudents entering the first year of the program directly from high scho ol in 1990-91 exceeded minimum expected standardized tests scores, gra de point averages, and class rank. In the same academic year, 7% of th e matriculants, on average, failed to meet requirements for subsequent entry into the medical school phase of the programs.
