Abstract
A new genus, a new subgenus, and two new species of mites (Acari) are described from Caribbean and South American Chrysomelidae (Coleoptera) : Ancyranoetus virkkii n. gen., n. sp. (Histiostomatidae) from Lema n igripes (Criocerinae) in Puerto Rico and Momorangia (Neomomorangia) as phaerae n. subg., n. sp. (Erythraeidae) collected from Asphaera sp. (A lticinae) in Brazil.
