Abstract
Using an action of R2 cosmology where inflation is natural, we find th e wavefunction of the universe corresponding to the Vilenkin and Hartl e-Hawking proposals. It is found that the inflationary scenario of R2 cosmology favours the Hartle-Hawking proposal contrary to Vilenkin's c laim.
