Abstract
Mycterus marmoratus, new species, from the Archbold Biological Station , Highlands Co., Florida, is described. Among North American species o f Mycterus this new species has distinct external and genitalic charac ters. A key to North American species and a checklist of world species of Mycterus is given. Male genitalia are illustrated for all species of the subgenera Mycterinus (except M. elongata Hopping) and Mycterell us.
