Abstract
Layered structures of Pb/Ag, Ag/Cu and Cu/Pb films have been investiga ted by X-ray diffraction. The Pb/Ag and Ag/Cu films showed satellite p eaks due to superlattice structures. The appearance of coherent layer stacking is discussed in terms of the crystal natures of the constitue nt elements including the lattice mismatch and surface energy.
