Abstract
The structural and magnetic properties of FeCo/Zr multilayers prepared by the rf sputtering method have been investigated. The multilayers w ith bilayers of Fe70Co30(2.5 nm)/Zr(1-2 nm) exhibited a coercive force as low as 0.1 Oe and a uniaxial anisotropy as small as 0.2 Oe after a nnealing at 500-degrees-C in a field parallel to the easy axis.
