The specific heat C(p) of glassy Ge20Se80-xBix (0 less-than-or-equal-t
o x less-than-or-equal-to 12) samples is investigated. The C(p) at 323
K and the DELTAC(p) at glass transition temperature T(g1) show anomal
ous features around x = 8 at.%, where p-n conduction type inversion al
so take place. These features are discussed in the light of Phillips m
odel of phase separation in these glasses at the microscopic level.
