Abstract
Ultrastructural morphology of the bacterial bodies was studied in 40 H elicobacter pylori positive cases. Two bacterial patterns were identif ied, which were associated with different modes of contact with the ep ithelial cells and possibly with different stages of the natural histo ry of the infection.
