Abstract
The rotational Raman spectrum of hydrogen dissolved in supercritical c arbon dioxide (scCO2) is investigated. As the pressure, and hence dens ity of the solution is increased, the lines broaden dramatically. The line broadening is compared with that of the vibrational line Q1(1) an d possible explanations for the behaviour, related to solvent-solute i nteractions, are discussed.
