Abstract
The crude aqueous extract of the microalga Dunaliella tertiolecta was found to have strong inhibitory effects on the aggregation of human pl atelets induced by thrombin, arachidonic acid and ionomycin. The extra ction of the crude aqueous extract with (PrOH)-Pr-i and posterior frac tionation with solvents of increasing polarity, concentrated the activ ity in the more polar fractions.
