Abstract
Electrical conductivity (sigma) and thermoelectric power (S) of polycr ystalline titanium-substituted lithium-magnesium ferrites having diffe rent compositions are investigated in the temperature range 300-800 K. The composition dependences of electrical resistivity and thermopower seem to vary almost similarly. Both the electrical transport properti es are found to exhibit clear and well-defined transitions near the Cu rie temperature. A qualitative explanation for the observed phenomena both at room temperature and higher temperatures is given.
