Abstract
Polystyrene latex thin films were prepared on an indium tin oxide elec trode by controlled-potential electrolysis of an aqueous solution cont aining a nonionic surfactant with a ferrocenyl moiety and dispersed la tex particles. Thermal treatment rendered the film more transparent, a nd made the ITO electrode covered with the film inert against electroc hemical reaction of hexacyanoferrate(II) due to the disappearance of t he intergranular space in the film.
