Abstract
The effects of atomization temperature on the characteristic masses an d the atomic absorption coefficients of silver and cadmium were studie d. The experimental results show that the values of characteristic mas ses are improved 10% when the analyte is atomized in the ranges of 140 0-2000 K and 1800-2700 K for Cd and Ag, respectively. The standardless analysis was applied to the determination of Ag and Cd in real sample s and satisfactory results were obtained.
