Abstract
We report four cases of Bartter's syndrome in two consecutive generati ons of an Irish family. Diagnoses were made on the basis of characteri stic clinical features, blood and urine biochemistry with additional e vidence from renal biopsy in one case. The aetiology, treatment and in heritance of the syndrome are discussed.
