Abstract
The renormalized hypervirial perturbation method is used to compute th e energy levels for a double-well potential V(x) = -Z2x2 + x2J. Result s are produced for a wide range of parameters (1 less-than-or-equal-to Z2 less-than-or-equal-to 10(6); 2 J = 4, 6, . . . 28, 30) and of stat e numbers (0 less-than-or-equal-to n less-than-or-equal-to 2 X 10(6)). Comparison is made with results obtained by other means.
