Abstract
A simple model is proposed to predict the temperature of forced-ventil
ated building fires. This is an extension of the works by Tsuchiya and
Sumi on natural-ventilated fires. Combustion process of the fuel and
thermal radiation heat transfer of the gases and walls are included. T
he model can also simulate the transition from the development stage t
o the decay stage.
