Alcohol withdrawal is a common disorder, yet its pharmacological manag ement varies widely. This article outlines the clinical features and c omplications encountered during alcohol withdrawal. It discusses when and where treatment should be initiated and suggests therapeutic recom mendations for pharmacological management.
