A photopolymerized material based on unsaturated polyester resin (poly
-1,2-propylene glycol maleinate phthalate) and a method of processing
it to obtain diffraction-grating replicas are proposed. Using a photop
olymerized material makes it possible to reduce the fabrication time o
f replicas from 15-20 h to 1-2 h because of the more than an order of
magnitude increase in the polymerization rate of the unsaturated polye
ster resin. It is shown that the optical and operational characteristi
cs of such replicas are no different from the characteristics of repli
cas obtained using the stated resin hardened by the action of an oxida
tion-reduction system of polymerization initiation.
